Twilight
I’ve been watching lots of kids’ movies and reading young adult books lately — even the really crappy ones.
Twilight was pretty bad. Even the special effects were really bad. But it still doesn’t really phase me how popular it is even though it sucks so much. Nowadays, I rarely even expect a correlation between the quality of a product and its sales.
I found this tidbit under the trivia section for the movie’s IMDB page:
“Stephanie Meyer cited the band Muse as her source of inspiration to write her books. Another of her favorite groups is Linkin Park, who contributed a song in the soundtrack.”
I think that pretty much sums it up.
Needless to say, I’m downloading a torrent of the entire trilogy as I’m writing this. I hope it’s really good/bad.
